**M77 Sonntagsmusik – Steady Me-Time | Country-Ballade über Selbstfürsorge & Me-Time von Jockel & Friends**

„I'll fight this exhaustion with a quiet kind of fire… Guard my little piece of heaven like a sacred soft empire“

**Jetzt streamen & in deine Steady Me-Time eintauchen!**

Transkript

It's now 12 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and we're all looking forward to Sunday music. One or the other has shortened the time a bit and at the favorite streaming service, no matter if it's Amazon Music, Spotify or Apple, also at YouTube Music, we've been looking for Jockel & Friends, J-O-C-K-L, then the underline F-R-I-E-N-D-S, and listened to one or the other song that already played here in the Sunday music. And for all the others, there is now the next piece of Sunday music with self-written text. And I'm happy because it's something I like to do again. And some people always say, "Man, Jockel, when is the next country song coming?" That sounds so awesome to you. Well, I'm happy if you like it. And today there is a really nice country song again, a ballad to be more precise. And what is it about? Well, who knows me knows, I am and will always be a great advocate of self-care. And it's exactly about this topic that we are going to talk about today, and that is exactly about Steady Me Time, something like a very personal time for ourselves. Have fun with it and if you recognize yourself in it, feel free to take this time just for yourself. [Music] Schultze IT-Schooling und Dienstleistungen. Every promise I kept felt like breaking my bones. Gave my hours, gave my heart, till there was nothing to show. Just a smile made of shadows and a soul running low. Then you told me lay your armor down, you're allowed to breathe. Held a mirror to the part of me, I never let me see. And now I'm learning how to listen, when my heartbeat calls my name. To say no without the guilt and walk right out of the shame. So I'll fight this exhaustion with a quiet kind of fire. Guard my little piece of heaven like a sacred soft empire. I'll be gentle with my limits, I'll defend this fragile mind. Turn my lonely hours into something special, something very kind. In the silence I remember, I belong to just myself. Every breath of steady me, time is my biggest gift for help. [Music] I still hustle like thunder, but I live like the rain. I can pour when I'm ready, I won't drown in the pain. I'm not closing out my heart, I'm just locking the door. When the noise gets too loud and I can't hear me anymore. You said let me stand beside you while you learn to stand alone. So I sit with my own feelings like they're guests inside my home. Light a candle in the evening, let the world spin as it may. I don't have to save it all to make it through the day. [Music] There's a power in pausing that I never was taught. Now I'm stitching back the pieces that I never even thought. With your hand on my shoulder and my hand on my own heart. We are learning that protection can be just like a restart. I can disappear for hours, it's not pushing friends away. It's the way I keep the colors in my spirit far from gray. When I rise from all the quiet, I return with softer eyes. I can give the world my best, 'cause I kept myself the size. [Music]
